Kitchen Makeovers: Document your BEFORE state!

It’s a funny thing, but quite often when someone starts a kitchen makeover project, they are so gung-ho to get started that they forget to take the “before” pictures. Drawings, too - it’s amazing how hard it is to remember exactly where that ugly cabinet was once you’ve ripped it out and hurled it into the outer darkness (working at night, obviously).

So, pull out the digital camera and snap a load of shots of all the horrible things you’re going to get rid of. Use a video camera (or video mode on your digicam) and walk around, describing how much you hate your kitchen’s special features. And make a drawing - even if it’s only a sketch.
